BREAKING NEWS!! Shock in D.C.: President Donald Trump Shot AGAIN

Chaos at White House Correspondents’ Dinner as Armed Suspect Attempts Breach

WASHINGTON — The annual White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) dinner, long known as Washington’s premier night of political satire and elite networking, was thrown into chaos on April 25, 2026, when an armed man attempted to storm the event at the Washington Hilton.

The incident unfolded shortly after the gala began, as guests including President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and hundreds of journalists and officials gathered in the ballroom. Gunshots echoed near a security checkpoint in the hotel lobby, sparking panic and prompting a swift evacuation.

According to authorities, 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen of Torrance, California, was apprehended shirtless in the lobby after charging toward the checkpoint armed with a shotgun, handgun, and knives. Secret Service agents quickly subdued him. One agent was shot at close range but survived thanks to a bulletproof vest.

Interim DC Police Chief Jeffrey Carroll described Allen as a “lone actor” and a hotel guest, with no indication of a broader threat. President Trump later praised law enforcement’s rapid response, calling their actions “fantastic” and noting they neutralized the threat before it could reach the crowded ballroom.

In a subsequent briefing, Trump labeled the suspect a “sick person” and confirmed authorities were searching Allen’s California residence. The President also highlighted a surprising sense of unity among attendees, describing how the shared danger brought journalists and politicians from across the political spectrum together. “It was very beautiful,” he said, emphasizing the moment of resilience at an event centered on freedom of speech.

Organizers initially hoped to continue the program, but the dinner was officially canceled around 9:45 p.m. Trump reportedly pushed to proceed with his remarks critiquing the press. The WHCA later announced the gala would be rescheduled for July 24.

The breach, one of the most serious security incidents at a major Washington political event in recent memory, has triggered a comprehensive review of protocols at the Washington Hilton and similar high-profile gatherings.

Allen faces multiple federal charges, including attempted assassination of the President. He has pleaded not guilty. His motive remains under investigation, with authorities examining writings and background details from the California teacher and video game developer.
