🚨🔴Moscow’s immediate reaction to Trump’s remarks about war

Dmitry Peskov, the Russian Presidential Press Secretary, has indicated that the diplomatic rapprochement between Moscow and Washington—initially associated with Donald Trump—is failing to produce tangible outcomes. Speaking on RBC radio, the Kremlin spokesman noted that while efforts exist to remove diplomatic “irritants,” progress has been virtually non-existent, especially in light of the continued United States support for Ukraine.

Addressing international perceptions and rhetoric, Peskov rejected metaphors of fragility, asserting that Russia is a “real bear” rather than a “paper tiger.” He emphasized that President Vladimir Putin remains committed to the “special military operation” launched in February 2022, stating that Russia has no other choice but to pursue its objectives through military force. Despite acknowledging localized economic tensions, he maintained that the Russian economy remains resilient against external pressures and sanctions.

Finally, the Kremlin spokesperson highlighted that Russian troops are currently advancing in all directions along the front lines. Peskov reiterated that the Kremlin views the continuation of the conflict as essential for the security and future of Russian citizens, signaling no intention of de-escalation despite the stalled diplomatic channels with the West and the evolving dynamics of the war.
