A woman in Ankara who says she may be an undisclosed daughter of Donald Trump has drawn attention after filing a legal claim seeking to establish paternity. The 55-year-old alleges that the U.S. president is her biological father and argues that the truth about her birth has remained hidden for decades.
Officially, Trump is known to have five children and eight grandchildren. His youngest son, Barron Trump, is 19 and was born during Trump’s marriage to Melania Trump. Trump has often spoken publicly about Barron’s influence during the 2024 campaign, saying his son encouraged him to appear on podcasts aimed at younger audiences.
That point was later reinforced by Eric Trump, who explained that Barron believed online interviews and digital media would help broaden support among younger voters. According to Eric, that strategy helped Trump connect with groups of voters he had not reached as effectively before.
Trump’s family history also includes children from two earlier marriages. With his first wife, Ivana Trump, he had three children: Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric. Later, during his marriage to Marla Maples, he became father to Tiffany Trump.
The woman behind the latest claim is Necla Ozmen. She says she was born in 1970 and legally recorded as the daughter of Sati and Dursun Ozmen, but later learned she had been adopted. According to her account, the woman who raised her revealed in 2017 that there had been a baby exchange at a hospital after birth.
Ozmen alleges that an American woman named Sophia handed over her newborn child after giving birth in the same hospital, claiming the baby resulted from what she describes as a secret relationship with Trump. She says a photograph of Trump was shown at the time.
Although a court reportedly dismissed the case because of insufficient evidence, Ozmen is appealing and has also submitted petitions in U.S. courts. She says her goal is simple: a DNA test and a direct conversation to learn the truth. ⚖️🧬
