Leavitt Explains Trump’s Iran ‘Unconditional Surrender’ Demand

Karoline Leavitt voiced strong support for President Donald Trump’s recent military campaign against Iran, calling the operation a major success as tensions in the Middle East continue to rise. Speaking during a White House briefing, Leavitt said the administration’s strategy has delivered significant results through a military campaign known as Operation Epic Fury. The operation has targeted Iranian missile systems, parts of its nuclear infrastructure, and senior leadership figures believed to be connected to threats against the United States.

“Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, the rogue Iranian terrorist regime is being absolutely crushed,” Leavitt said Wednesday. According to her, more than 2,000 targets have been struck since the operation began. Leavitt argued that Trump’s approach marks a decisive shift from past U.S. foreign policy toward Iran. She said the administration is focused on dismantling the regime’s military capabilities and preventing further attacks on American forces and allies.

In a detailed statement shared on social media, she outlined several objectives behind the operation. These include destroying Iran’s missile infrastructure, weakening its naval forces, preventing the use of roadside bombs against U.S. troops, and ensuring Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon. Leavitt also claimed that dozens of senior Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, were killed during the opening strikes. When asked about Trump’s call for “unconditional surrender,” Leavitt said it would effectively mean Iran no longer poses a threat to the United States.
