ABC Pulls Jimmy Kimmel Live Off Air Without Explanation💕🎬

ABC abruptly canceled the planned Thursday night broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, leaving viewers and scheduled guests wondering what caused the last-minute change.

The long-running late-night show was expected to feature appearances by David Duchovny, Joe Keery of Stranger Things, and singer Madison Beer. Several hours before the episode was set to air, Beer alerted fans on X that her performance had been postponed “due to unforeseen circumstances.” She added that the appearance would be rescheduled at a later date. ABC has not released an official explanation for the sudden cancellation. However, the entertainment news outlet LateNighter reported that the change was connected to a “personal matter.” When viewers tuned in at the show’s regular 11:35 p.m. Eastern time slot, they did not see host Jimmy Kimmel deliver his usual opening monologue. Instead, ABC aired a rerun from October 28, sparking confusion and speculation across social media.

One Reddit user who claimed to have tickets for the taping shared what appeared to be an email from the show’s audience department. The message said the episode had been postponed and that ticket holders would be contacted later to arrange a new date. Kimmel typically records the program Monday through Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time and has rarely missed a broadcast during his more than 20 years hosting the show. The cancellation follows another recent disruption when the program briefly paused in September after controversy over comments Kimmel made about supporters of Donald Trump following the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
